ok ive seen several other posts like this and theyre too vague so it’s a pain trying to figure out exactly what op or the rebloggers consider “gross ships” so here’s an explicit one. reblog this post if youre a dc/batfam blog who doesn’t post/ship/defend:

• bruce/any kids:
• including babs! don’t care that it’s dcau canon still gross
• dick/almost any batfam:
• except babs! and maybe helena? someone can lmk her age
• especially damian, yeah, but also including jason and tim etc
• jason/almost any batfam:
• including tim. especially tim, stop letting it slide.
• steph is fine maybe? she’s only a year younger than him and not adopted into the family. 
• babs is possibly fine in post-flashpoint continuities like arkham knight and n52 because she’s aged down/wasn’t with dick? (if anyone has info lmk)
• tim/any batfam:
• except steph (again, shes not adopted) 
• no tim/ra’s either lmao 
• again, including/especially jason.
• damian/any batfam:
• any. especially dick. 
• including tim and steph and jason. 
• everyone who is not also 12-14. he is a baby
• also, ot3s that include siblings are sketchy imo 
• jay/tim/steph, jay/dick/roy, etc
• i’m not very familiar with n52 kids but from what i know: 
• duke is adopted/will be soon so no siblings (dick/jason/tim/cass/damian)
• harper is not adopted or officially batfam so shes fine with same-age characters (steph, cass, tim i guess)
• also like. harley/joker obviously. shit like that
• feel free to add more, i dont know everyone equally or n52 stuff or non-batfam stuff

in case it wasnt clear: the point here is that the batfam is a family, on top of age differences, power dynamics, and violence existing in some of these ships. good on you if you took a stand against the obviously bad parent/child type ones, but that’s not the whole picture.

if you want to ask about a ship, im me. if something you ship (publicly, coping ships are no one’s business if you don’t post them) is on here, dont yell at me. this is just a clear outline of “gross ships” so that people don’t keep calling themselves safe when they still ship j@ytim.

also: clark/any batkids (which i definitely have seen) and any adult character (18 or older) with a minor (unless its like, a one year age difference, i guess)
